Case Study: Installation of a Complete Packaging Line

Context A food manufacturer packaging dry products in pouches, with an average daily output of 6,000 to 8,000 units.
The objective was to increase production capacity while reducing reliance on manual operations.

Client Challenge – The process was semi-automatic:

  • Partially manual filling
  • Manual cartoning operations
  • Significant output fluctuations
  • Difficulty stabilizing production beyond 20–25 units per minute

Impact: inconsistent output, occasional errors and high labor dependency.

The Mits-Pack Solution – Installation of a complete packaging line including:

  1. High-precision automatic filling system
  2. Closing module with integrated quality control
  3. Automatic labelling system
  4. Automated cartoning and product grouping

The line was configured to reach a target speed of 40 units per minute, with seamless integration into the existing production environment.

Results Achieved
✔ Output increased from 7,000 to over 24,000 units per day
✔ Cadence stabilisée à 35–40 unités/minute
✔ 30% reduction in manual interventions
✔ Improved consistency and fewer errors

Production is now more predictable, controlled and scalable.
